The Brazilian Tax Authority published the applicable rules for the income tax return declaration 2022, base year 2021.
Among the rules that have been published, it is Worth mentioning the following:
- The tax period starts on March 07, 2022 and ends on April 29, 2022. Therefore, this year we will not have an extension of the deadline to submit the declaration that occurred in the last 2 years.
- The program to prepare the income tax return declaration will be made available to download on March 07, 2022.
- This year it will be possible to receive the income tax refund by PIX, as long as the PIX key is the CPF of the applicant.
